It works better than imagined

However, must lengths of shoelaces are NOT for boots and other ankle high shoes, they are more appropriate for low sneakers. Also, in order for the shoes not to keep coming off the feet, you need to really tighten the elastic band, more than you were used to with the regular, fabric shoelaces. But they look great, and it works.

Metal bits not effective

The metal ties kept coming off when my daughter was wearing the shoe laces. Because the laces had to be cut, it was so difficult to put them back on, and I ended up tiying them with a knot, now they’re too tight for my daughter so I have to cut off the laces altogether, and put on other laces.
